
Oatly
Oatly AB is a food company which focuses on research and development, marketing and sales of oat-based non-dairy products.
The company is placed in Landskrona, and Oatly's Research & Development operations have strong links with Lund University. Oatly's researchers have developed a unique, patented liquid oat food - Oat Drink - and a number of other products based on our liquid oat base.
Production takes place in co-operation with Skånemejerier, Trensums Food and Sia Glass. Oatly AB currently employs 30 staff.

In close co-operation with Lund UniversityThe company is running projects in co-operation with university departments nearby with the assistance of students and doctoral postgraduates. The company's turnover for 2005 is budgeted at more than SEK 80 million, and estimates indicate that growth of more than 30% a year is possible over the next few years. The Swedish market is currently responsible for around 60% of the company's total turnover.
Its products are sold under the brand name Oatly. In the Nordic Region, the company's products can be found in convenience stores, while in other countries the range is available mainly at health stores.
Most of Oatly AB is owned by a research group in Lund, Carnegie foundations, Pågengruppen and Östersjöstiftelsen.
